Regulatory change monitoring means an agreed way of working: an organisation knows which legal acts its policies, terms and contracts depend on, follows changes to those acts, and assesses which documents a change may affect. It is part of broader compliance monitoring, but the direction is reversed: not a document checked against current law, but the movement of the law checked against your documents.
Inside the Juvo platform this takes the form of watched legal acts, alerts and law-change scans. The product is at pilot stage: source scope and scan cadence are agreed per organisation, not offered as one universal promise. Coverage is built on Estonian and EU legal sources.

Riigi Teataja and EUR-Lex publish change in a steady stream: new consolidated versions, implementing acts, transitional provisions, refinements to EU regulations and directives. Much of the effect is indirect. An amendment to one act can touch a document that does not cite that act at all, because the document relies on definitions or obligations whose content has shifted.
Manual tracking means someone reads the amendments, keeps the document set in their head and judges the connections from memory. On a busy team that work tends to come last, and the gap grows quietly until an audit, a client or a supervisory authority finds it first.

You agree the watched legal acts
During the pilot we map, together with you, the legal acts your documents depend on and agree which of them are placed under watch. The sources are Estonian and EU legal sources.
Scans connect a change to your documents
When a watched act changes, a law-change scan is designed to flag documents in your workspace that the change may affect. A finding points to the specific part of the document and, where supported, to the underlying legal source, such as a provision in Riigi Teataja or EUR-Lex.
Findings go to qualified review
Clause-level findings are inputs for your lawyer or compliance specialist. Severity levels serve as guidance and help order the work, but the decision on whether and how to amend a document is made by a person.

Source scope
Which legal acts are under watch and which are not. The scope is contractual: monitoring covers the selected acts, not the legal order as a whole.
Cadence and alerts
How often scans run and how alerts reach your team. The cadence is agreed during the pilot, based on the risk profile of your documents.
Document set and data handling
Which documents in your workspace are covered. Data processing and retention terms are agreed in the service agreement, and our privacy policy sets out the principles.
If your focus is a contract portfolio, contract compliance monitoring describes the same workflow from the contracts' side. Pilot terms and pricing are agreed individually.
What this service does not do.
Monitoring covers the agreed legal acts at the agreed cadence. Changes outside the agreed scope are not monitored, and a finding is not a legal opinion but a starting point for qualified review.
